Ek Prayaas

Ek Prayaas is a non-profit organisation that is registered under the West Bengal Society's Act. It aims at providing both education and meals to less fortunate children across the various communities in Kolkata.

In our fifth adventure, we joined forces with Ek Prayaas to embark on a journey of making new connections and creating a positive impact in the lives of others. Over the course of two exciting days, we were immersed in a whirlwind of diverse stories, lively games, and the delightful company of a rather mischievous child. The children welcomed us with open arms, eagerly participating in every game and discussion with infectious zeal and enthusiasm.

We delved into the art of storytelling, exploring the importance of plot, characters, and dialogue. This led to a captivating exchange of spooky tales, showcasing how stories have historically bound communities together through their oral tradition. Adhering to the theme of the day, we even collaborated to craft a chilling horror story.

The children's artistic talents were on full display as they fearlessly wielded pencils, oil pastels, and watercolour paints with remarkable precision and creativity. Our time together was filled with laughter, as we drew, painted, and bonded over shared experiences, creating indelible memories.
